The Best Legal Template Bundle for Bloggers

August 6, 2023

Whether you’re blogging to share your thoughts with the world or blogging to create income streams (or both!), ensuring your blog is legally compliant is the single most important thing you can do. Setting up the legal aspects of my blog was easier than I could have ever imagined, thanks to the help of a fellow small business owner. Read on to learn more about how I set up the legal pillars of my blog in minutes…yes, minutes!

Before starting my blog, I didn’t even know I needed things like a privacy page, a disclosures and disclaimers page, or a terms and conditions page. When I began crafting the foundations of my blog, I noticed that WordPress was suggesting a generic, auto-generated privacy policy, and that got me thinking. Is that generic privacy policy enough for all that I want to do with this blog?

Absolutely nothing against WordPress – they’ve been instrumental in helping me build this blog. But I knew I wanted to really challenge myself and push myself to new heights with this blog, and I didn’t think that generic privacy policy was enough for my big blogger dreams. Plus, I absolutely hate breaking rules, so I knew I needed to set this blog up the right way. The legal way. So, I started researching legal templates, which took me down a very long rabbit hole.

Once I started researching legal templates for my blog, I was immediately overwhelmed by all of the choices out there. There were so many different legal experts offering varying legal template packages, and all at different costs. I knew I wanted, at a bare minimum, a privacy policy page, a disclosures and disclaimers page, and a terms and conditions page. But I also knew that I wanted a few additional pieces to help ensure this investment was setting me up for success in the long-term, with things I didn’t need when my blog was just starting but things I knew I’d need once my blog began to grow. I was so overwhelmed with the choices available from everyone that I started a spreadsheet checklist that listed out each template being offered in everyone’s different legal template packages.

As silly as this sounds, this practice actually helped me develop one of my first long-term business plans for my blog! It forced me to think about where I was starting from and where I wanted to take my business.

The legal side of blogging is certainly not easy, not at all my area of expertise, and it can be rather dry and dull at times, but it is so, so critically important. If I was going to invest in legal templates, I wanted to ensure the templates were going to be accurate, easy, fast, and worth my money. Rather than filling up my brainspace with the seemingly endless amount of legal compliance information and ensuring I was staying up to date on everything, I wanted to lean on a legal expert to do that for me.

One of the legal experts I kept coming across in my research was Amira at A Self Guru. Amira is a lawyer and a blogger who has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs with their legal pages, plus thousands of her own clients. She works full-time as a lawyer and has been working with small business owners and entrepreneurs for over 8 years, helping them to protect their online businesses legally.

What stood out to me about Amira was her down-to-earth approach and her desire to help fellow small business owners achieve their dreams, all while ensuring their blogs are legally compliant with her insanely easy-to-use legal template bundles. She also has a loyal following of customers who rave about her products!

I chose to purchase Amira’s VIP Comprehensive Legal Bundle, and I could not be happier with my purchase. This bundle in particular comes with the three must-have legal templates (a privacy policy template, a disclaimer template, and a terms and conditions template), plus 13 other templates that are valued at over $1,825!

All of the templates I purchased were extremely easy to understand and customize to my particular business needs. Plus, I was able to finish all of them and get them loaded onto my blog literally in minutes.

When a law was updated earlier this year, Amira notified me via email, letting me know that she had updated the template to reflect the latest requirements of the law and that I should update the template on my website ASAP. The updated template was just as easy to customize and load onto my website as the initial templates I had purchased. I can truly rest easy knowing that Amira is staying up-to-date on the latest with regards to laws and policies!

After seeing how complicated the legal side of blogging can be, I was beyond grateful for all of the time and peace of mind Amira’s templates gave me. Because of my autoimmune issues and chronic fatigue, setting up the legal side of my blog could have easily taken me days or weeks and drained me because of how complex and boring it can be. Purchasing these templates allowed me to quickly get the important legal aspects of my blog in place, enabling me to get back to my favorite parts of my blog – designing and writing content!

Amira has a variety of legal template bundles or single templates available, depending on what you might need for your business and what your budget might be.

To learn more about each template that Amira offers and to help determine which is right for your particular business situation, you can check out her free legal guide and her blog post. Her website is full of helpful information that will teach you more about the legal implications of blogging and owning a business. She does a really great job of sharing her legal knowledge in a digestible, relatable, and fun way.

I hope this post helps you to feel less overwhelmed with the legal side of starting a blog. Happy (legal!) blogging!
